The “Hydroponic Farming and Greenhouse Training” program, organized in our Karataş district by our Directorate of Agricultural Production Enterprise Agricultural Extension and In-Service Training Center, has been successfully completed.

Aimed at introducing innovative production techniques to local farmers and enhancing efficiency in protected agriculture, the program was conducted in two separate training sessions. A total of 114 trainees participated in the courses, where hydroponic farming systems, nutrient solution management, greenhouse climate control, and modernized cultivation techniques were presented through both theoretical and practical instruction. Additionally, within the scope of the program, participants were briefed on the project currently implemented by our Directorate, titled “SMART STEP: Climate-Smart Steps in Grassland Management and Improvement” (Project No: 2025-1-TR01-KA220-VET000349844).

We extend our gratitude to our expert trainers for sharing their valuable knowledge and experience with the participants, and we congratulate all trainees who successfully completed the program. We sincerely hope that the knowledge and skills acquired will make significant contributions to the agricultural capacity and production of our region.
