Our project titled “Climate-Smart Steps in Grassland Management and Improvement” (Project No. 2025-1-TR01-KA220-VET-000349844) has been awarded a €250,000 grant under the Erasmus+ Programme 2025 – Cooperation Partnerships in Vocational Education and Training (VET).
It has coordinated by Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University, brings together a consortium of distinguished institutions: Samsun Ondokuz Mayıs University, the Adana Agricultural Production Enterprise Agricultural Extension and In-Service Training Center, the Raumberg-Gumpenstein Center for Education and Research Institute (Austria), the Institute of Technology and Life Sciences (Poland), the Extremadura Scientific and Technological Research Center (Spain), and the Institute of Animal Husbandry (Serbia).

Co-supported by the Turkish National Agency and the European Union, the initiative aims to enhance the sustainability of grassland ecosystems under changing climate conditions. Within the scope of the project, collaborative capacity-building activities will be conducted among partner institutions, and innovative educational materials will be developed to integrate the latest research findings and exemplary European practices into agricultural vocational training.
