The Hydroponic Systems in Soilless Agriculture Seminar was successfully organized on April 15, 2026, by the Adana Agricultural Production Enterprise, Agricultural Extension and In-service Training Center (Adana TAYEM), under the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. The training program, which was attended by 57 participants, featured a presentation by Senior Agricultural Engineer and Smart Farming Systems Specialist Özge Çiner Kaya. During the session, the technical, economic, and practical dimensions of hydroponic farming systems were shared with the participants.
At the conclusion of the seminar, Adana TAYEM Director Dr. Bülent Ayhan provided an informative briefing on the SMART STEP Project (2025-1-TR01-KA220-VET000349844), of which the Training Center is a partner. The presentation emphasized the importance of production models compatible with climate change and shared information regarding the effective use of natural resources, sustainable production systems, and the efforts carried out within the project to disseminate climate-friendly agricultural practices.
