As part of the program, participants visited the research center, received information about its activities, and had the opportunity to examine the Germplasm Bank on site.

This was followed by a visit to the Valdesequera experimental farm, where livestock production and pasture management practices were observed. The visit was important in terms of sharing best practice examples based on public–private sector cooperation. The next project meeting will be held on June 24–25–26, 2026, in Gumpenstein, Austria.

Later in the day, participants returned to Mérida, and the program concluded with an optional cultural activity.
