An in-service training program has been planned by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry in order to increase the effectiveness of the National Residue Monitoring Plan (UKİP) in the field, strengthen the technical capacity of the assigned personnel, and provide solutions to the problems encountered in practice.
The trainings will be carried out in two separate groups at our partner institution, Adana Training Center Directorate (Adana TAYEM). The first group of trainings started on April 6–7, 2026, with the opening remarks of Adana Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry, Atilla Bayazıt.
The second group of trainings is planned to be held on April 9–10, 2026.
In addition, within the scope of the first group of trainings, 64 participants were informed about the SMART STEP Project (2025-1-TR01-KA220-VET000349844), in which our Training Center Directorate is among the partners, and the importance of climate change–adapted production models was emphasized. Information was also provided on pasture and rangeland management, efficient use of natural resources, and the dissemination of climate-friendly practices within the scope of the project.
