The first day of the meeting began with a welcome and opening speech by the host institution, CICYTEX. Project partners then reviewed the progress achieved so far, including project results (PR1, PR2, and PR3) and dissemination activities.

Throughout the day, work packages were discussed in detail. Particular attention was given to the Learning Management System (LMS), adaptive management of semi-natural grasslands under changing climate conditions, training modules, video podcast content, and guidelines for biodiversity conservation.

In the afternoon session, preparations for academic publications comparing semi-natural grassland practices and the planning of the next transnational project meeting were addressed. The meeting concluded with discussions on project management, use of resources, and the definition of next steps.

At the end of the day, participants attended a cultural visit to the historic Roman Theatre and Amphitheatre of Mérida. The program continued with a social dinner.
