The training course titled “Use of UAV Technologies in Agriculture”, organized at our project partner Adana TAYEM, was successfully completed on April 3, 2026.

During the course, 26 participants received both theoretical and practical training on the effective use of modern technologies in agriculture. In addition, participants were informed about relevant projects throughout the training. We would like to thank all trainees who took part in this program, which contributes to improving efficiency and sustainability in agriculture.

At the end of the training, participants were also provided with comprehensive information about the Climate-Smart Steps in Grassland Management and Improvement (SMART STEP) Project (Project No: 2025-1-TR01-KA220-VET000349844), in which Adana TAYEM Directorate is one of the partners. The impacts of climate change on agricultural production were addressed, and the importance of developing climate-resilient and adaptive production models was emphasized.

Within the scope of the briefing, it was stated that the SMART STEP Project aims to strengthen sustainable grassland and pasture management, promote climate-friendly production approaches, and enhance the efficient use of natural resources.

Furthermore, participants were informed about field studies and best practice examples conducted in different countries. In particular, practices implemented in Spain—such as planned grazing systems, efficient water management, increasing soil organic matter, and climate-friendly production techniques—were highlighted for their positive impact on productivity. It was also emphasized that these findings are intended to be adapted to local conditions and disseminated among producers.
